Oil Changes
Oil changes done on a regular basis will increase the life of your engine by removing harmful acids and contaminants. Most manufacturers recommend changing your oil every 3,500 to 5,000 miles or every 3 to 4 months whichever comes first – or as specified in your owner’s manual .
Lack of frequent oil changes causes hydrocarbons and sludge to collect on engine parts and seals. This decreases engine performance and, over time, may cause engine failure.
While you wait for the service, we do a quick safety inspection of your vehicle, which includes the following:
- Inspect filters, belts and hoses
- Check exterior lights
- Top off all fluids - as needed
- Check for leaks
- Check the tires and air pressure
- Inspect wiper blades
Once this is completed, we will go over any recommendations with you.
